Core Values need to match your culture (don’t be generic)

Phase 2 Interactive Core ValuesI’ve been carrying this card around with me for at least a year, and I use it whenever I talk about Core Values.  I love these values precisely because I don’t know what any of them mean.  These short phrases must mean something to people that work at this company, and because they’re not generic, they are that much more meaningful for this company.

That much of the story was always enough for me before today.  Then I decided to go to the company’s website to see if the story I’ve been telling above is really true.  Here’s what I found.  Turns out it is true.  And, the first 4 are so compelling, they withhold #5 and use it as enticement for you to get in touch with them.

What are your core values?  Are they generic or as meaningful as these?
