What do you hope will happen with your business? What actions do you then take or not take, based on that hope?
For me, hope is insidious. It tends to keep me from taking the actions, because I’m simply hoping, not creating. On one hand it seems promising, positive even, to hope. If my situation right now isn’t all I want it to be, hope seems better than dispair or resignation, but it’s a trap. When I’m resigned, at least I know I’m not going to get what I want. That gets boring fast and then I look for a way out. WIth hope, I’m being positive! I’m seeing a future. And my inaction is hidden.
So what do we do? Give up hope! Instead, find purpose, inspiration, intention, and then take action!
